The Sika 902103 SikaSeal Fire Guard is a high-performance, one-part water-based ablative acoustic sealant designed to maintain the integrity of fire-rated walls and partitions. Providing up to four hours of fire resistance in suitably designed joints, it expands when exposed to heat to form a protective char that helps prevent the passage of fire and smoke. The permanently flexible formulation also offers excellent acoustic insulation, making it ideal for sealing construction joints, service penetrations, door frames and plasterboard installations. Fast curing, easy to apply and overpaintable, SikaSeal Fire Guard is supplied in 295ml cartridges and is suitable for a wide range of professional fire stopping applications.
