Account & Ordering

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. Toolsaver is a trade-only B2B wholesaler, and we only supply authorised resellers, merchants and trade customers.

You must have an approved account and be logged in to view trade pricing, access product availability and place orders through our website.

How do I apply for a trade account?

You can apply using our online sign-up form or contact our team directly if you prefer.

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and verified. Our team will get your account set up as quickly as possible so you can start ordering.

Who can open a Toolsaver account?

We supply authorised resellers only, including tool retailers, builders’ merchants, hardware stores, online sellers, eCommerce businesses and industrial suppliers.

All applications are subject to approval and standard trade verification checks.

How long does it take to get approved?

Most trade accounts are approved within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

During busy periods, or if additional information is required, approval may take slightly longer. Our team may contact you to complete the process.

Why can’t I see prices on your website?

As a wholesale supplier, we offer trade-only pricing.

To protect our customers’ margins and prevent end-user visibility, prices are only shown to approved customers who are logged into their account.

I’ve logged in but still can’t see prices - why?

If you are logged in but cannot see pricing, your account may not yet be fully approved.

Pricing is only visible once your account has been reviewed and authorised by our team. If you believe this is an error, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

Can I place an order without logging in?

No. You must be logged in to your approved trade account to view pricing and place an order.

Is there a minimum order value?

No, there is no minimum order value. However, orders over £100 ex VAT qualify for free UK mainland delivery.

Can I place orders over the phone or email?

Yes, you can place orders by phone or email.

However, ordering online is usually faster and easier, giving you full visibility of trade pricing, live stock availability, previous orders and account information.

Can I amend or cancel an order after placing it?

We may be able to amend or cancel an order before it has been dispatched.

As orders are processed quickly for next working day delivery, we recommend checking all products, quantities and delivery details carefully before submitting your order.

Can I place bulk or repeat orders easily?

Yes. Ordering is simple and efficient through your online trade account.

Once logged in, you can view your account dashboard and order history, making it easier to repeat previous purchases. You can also create wishlists to help organise regular stock orders and frequently purchased products.

Pricing & Payments

Do you offer bulk or box quantity pricing?

Yes. We offer competitive bulk and box quantity pricing across selected products.

This helps trade customers, merchants and resellers improve margins when buying in volume or topping up regular stock lines.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards.

Credit accounts are also available to approved customers, subject to status and standard credit checks.

Do you offer credit accounts?

Yes. Credit accounts are available to approved customers, subject to status and credit approval.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are available to approved customers and can be viewed once logged into your account.

These are not publicly displayed, as they are part of our protected trade-only offering.

Do you offer early settlement discounts?

Yes. Early settlement discounts are available for eligible customers and can be viewed once logged into your approved trade account.

Will VAT be added to my order?

Yes. All prices shown on the website are exclusive of VAT.

VAT is calculated and added at checkout before your order is submitted.

Do prices include delivery?

Delivery is calculated at checkout.

Orders that meet our free carriage threshold qualify for free UK mainland delivery. Orders below the threshold will have carriage added at checkout.

Delivery & Shipping

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes. We offer free UK mainland delivery on orders over £100 ex VAT.

Orders below this threshold are charged £6 carriage.

What is your delivery cut-off time?

Our order cut-off time is 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Orders placed before this time are processed for dispatch on a next working day delivery service, subject to stock availability and postcode restrictions.

When will my order be delivered?

Orders placed before 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched on a next working day delivery service.

Some remote or extended postcode areas may experience slightly longer delivery times. Please see our delivery page for full postcode information.

Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?

No. We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses only.

Do you offer next day delivery?

Yes. The majority of orders are shipped on a next working day service when placed before our 4:30pm cut-off time.

Do you offer Saturday delivery?

No. We do not currently offer Saturday delivery or timed delivery services.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be emailed to you.

Will my order arrive in multiple shipments?

Only if necessary.

If items have different stock availability, your order may be split so we can dispatch available products as quickly as possible.

Drop Shipping

Do you offer drop shipping?

Yes. We offer a drop shipping service, allowing you to send orders directly to your end customer.

Can you ship directly to my customer?

Yes. Simply enter your customer’s delivery address at checkout and we can ship the order directly to them.

Will my branding appear on the delivery?

No. Deliveries are unbranded, making them suitable for direct-to-customer fulfilment.

Are there additional costs for drop shipping?

No. There are no additional charges for using our drop shipping service.

How quickly are drop shipped orders dispatched?

Drop shipped orders follow the same process as standard orders.

Orders placed before our cut-off time are typically dispatched on a next working day delivery service. The only difference is the delivery address used at checkout.

Stock & Availability

Are all items shown in stock?

Stock availability is shown online. If an item is out of stock, this will be clearly indicated on the website.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

We work hard to keep stock information accurate.

In the unlikely event of a stock discrepancy, our team will contact you and arrange a refund or alternative solution.

Can I backorder products?

Yes. Backorders are available on selected products.

How often is your stock updated?

Stock levels are updated in near real-time, giving you accurate visibility when ordering.

Please note there may occasionally be a slight delay during high-demand periods or while another customer’s order is processing.

Can I reserve stock or forward order?

Yes. We allow forward ordering on selected products.

This enables you to secure stock in advance and lock in current pricing before any supplier increases take effect.

What happens if supplier prices increase?

Like most industries, our pricing may change in line with supplier increases.

We always aim to remain as competitive as possible and maintain transparent pricing for our customers.

Where possible, we notify customers in advance of any manufacturer price increases, giving you the opportunity to place orders and secure current pricing before changes take effect.
