The Makita DC18RDS combines the powerful DC18RD dual-port rapid charger with a Makpac Type 3 connector case for convenient storage and transportation.

Designed for Makita 14.4V and 18V LXT slide-style lithium-ion batteries, the DC18RD can charge two batteries simultaneously without increasing the charging time. Each charging port operates independently, allowing batteries with different capacities or charge levels to be charged at the same time.

Built-in cooling fans circulate air through the batteries during charging, helping to reduce battery temperature and enable faster, more efficient charging. The charger also continuously monitors voltage, current and temperature to optimise the charging process and help protect battery performance.

Depending on the battery capacity, charging times range from approximately 15 to 120 minutes.
